The Itinerary

Mahone Bay is famous for three churches (Trinity United, St. James Anglican, St. John's Lutheran) lined up on the waterfront — one of Nova Scotia's most-reproduced images.

The bay officially has 365 islands (one for each day of the year). Quaint downtown with craft shops, art galleries and candy makers. Festival of the Tall Ships in summer. The region is also linked to the Oak Island treasure legend (never found) — featured on the show The Curse of Oak Island.
