The Itinerary
Sherbrooke Village is the Maritimes' largest living museum: 25 restored 19th-century buildings (1860–1890) on their original sites, with costumed interpreters performing period trades.
Marine Drive (Hwy 7) follows the east coast, one of NS's quietest — deserted beaches, wild coves and fishing villages. Tangier, Sheet Harbour and Liscombe Lodge are stops. Eastern Shore Beaches Provincial Park holds Martinique Beach (5 km of sand). Peaceful atmosphere away from mass tourism.
